# About the Example category

This category was created to hold examples for RFC: [Towards an infrastructure for examples](https://swi-prolog.discourse.group/t/towards-an-infrastructure-for-examples/3368).

The idea is to create the example in this category and create a separate corresponding discussion topic in the category [Example Discussion](https://swi-prolog.discourse.group/c/example/discussion/29)

There should only be one topic per Example while the Discussion can hold many topics.

In other words the example topic should be a single clean and easy to understand entry that can be directly or with some simple formatting, lifted from the single post and moved into a Pull Request for inclusion into the official documentation. All of the discussions should be in separate topics so that they don’t clutter up the example.
