The above is a little tricky, since it first prints “1” and then it prints “9”.
Which makes it very short. With your Prolog solution I get:

?- sdn(19,P).
P = [i, i, s, s, i, i, i, o].

Which only prints at the end, making it longer.

Very cool, I didn’t consider printing each digit separately, that indeed adds more room for generating shorter programs.
