In investigating ways to install SWI-Prolog (specifically for use with [WSL 2](https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/) which is synergistic with Docker ([ref](https://docs.docker.com/docker-for-windows/wsl/))) was checking out using the [swipl image](https://hub.docker.com/_/swipl) from [DockerHub](https://hub.docker.com/)

Was expecting the latest version, [8.3.10](https://swi-prolog.discourse.group/t/ann-swi-prolog-8-3-10/3085), but the DockerHub [version](https://hub.docker.com/_/swipl) is at, 8.2.0, so was wondering how are the versions chosen for DockerHub.

I did find the GitHub repository related to the DockerHub image ([docker-swipl](https://github.com/SWI-Prolog/docker-swipl)) but don’t know what triggers the build and if it just a matter of when the build takes places that determines the version.

As near as I can figure it is just done manually.

99% of the time being a few minor versions behind is fine so this is just out of curiosity.
