The application constantly gives data, how can I understand what is happening?

No stack trace? What platform? Typically, making the code to replicate available is the way to get these things sorted out. Knowing which request triggers this (`?- debug(http(request)).`) and include the source code for this handler may help to create a program that reproduces this.

No stack trace. maybe it’s because I’m running a qlf file?

No. But, stack traces are not available on all architectures. That is why I keep asking for details.

Installed from PPA, Snap, source, …? If you install from source you’d normally get a usable backtrace, so probably not ☹ Creating a minimal reproducing example is probably the way to go. The alternative is to install from source and see whether this gets a more usable backtrace. On failure thereof you can build the debug version and either hope its additional debugging tools give a hint or use gdb (the C debugger) to get a clue.

As is, it is likely a bug as the system should not crash unless bad foreign plugins are added. Nobody can have any cue what it might be related to though.

You know the source code and the request. We don’t. Without giving something to reproduce, you’ll have to debug yourself. Sorry.

It suggests you are somehow mixing up the I/O streams involved in handling the HTTP request. That means you code is probably wrong. As we have no clue about this code, there is little we can do.

The message that you ignore is that you refuse to provide a reproducible example; instead you insist on taking _other people’s time_, for no obvious benefit. So you get to keep your secrets and we get to waste our time. Sounds like a sweet deal.

Without the C stack and without the exact call, no. It it reproduces, try

```
?- trace(socket:'$host_address'/3).
```

which will hopefully tell the exact call going wrong.

This looks like a different crash. Something we have seen in this thread before. This time you omit the Prolog stack, so the information is completely disjoint with the previous report. This looks like doing something wrong with the HTTP streams. The crash in `'$host_address'` looked like a memory management issue in internet address lookup.

Again, and I fear for the last time: if you do not provide proper error reports, which ideally includes code we can run or at least snippets of what happens around the crash with as complete as you can get stack traces and goal arguments, there is no way anyone can help you.

the prologue does not provide any extended information. I would be happy if there was a detailed report of the fall
