# Unable to use the Discourse application

For the last weeks (months?) I’ve been unable to log in swi-prolog forum using the ios discourse application with an API error:

Is this expected? I find extremely useful the Discourse App when I’m traveling.

It looks like the forum settings currently require trust level three to access the user API - @EricGT, it looks like you changed that setting last year – are you okay with lowering the API access level to 1?It looks like [there was a discussion](https://meta.discourse.org/t/sorry-you-do-not-have-the-required-trust-level-to-access-the-user-api-when-on-ios/71084?tl=en) on the meta-forum about that & they found TL0 reasonable…
