Ending correctly SWI-prolog

I’m using: SWI-Prolog version : (threaded, 64 bits, version 8.1.17) on Windows10

I want to exit an stop correctly

But what I’m getting is: As soon as I use the edit command (from the menu or directly edit(xxx), i get the following messages :

and when I try to close the window I get the never ending messages :

So I have to kill the process.

I certainly missed some installation directives …

This is fixed in the current source. You can install the daily version if you do not want to wait for the next release.
