This release adds a lint check for redefined standard operators, simplifies and improves the compilation and execution performance of meta-calls and lambda expressions, improves compilation of modules as objects for applying the developer tools, improves support for parameter variables in directives, fixes two optimization bugs in atypical code, adds library overviews to the handbook, adds new and improves existing handbook sections, improves library documentation, improves integration with SWI-Prolog graphical tracer and profiler tools (after feedback and support from Daniel Gross), updates the tutor tool for the latest lint warnings, improves test coverage of control constructs and directives, adds new didactic example definitions of meta-predicates, improves ctags support (contributed by Paul Brown), and provides updated support for SWI-Prolog, XSB, and YAP.
