Where to put SWIPL.INI on Linux?

I’m using: SWI-Prolog version 8.0.2.

On Windows swipl.ini is found in the AppData\Roaming\SWI-Prolog directory. Where does SWI-Prolog expect to find that file on Ubuntu Linux 18.04?
